HOW TO FIND US

Below you will find the Cervelo frames that are new for 2009.

They start from the Cervelo S1 which is a alloy road frame with a TTT carbon fork. The S1 is in todays market place under rated due to the fact that it isnt a carbon frame , although when put to the test this is a very quick bike.

The Cervelo RS has the Squoval tube design , that is a real winner with the R range  very compliant also stiffer than most with a 30mm larger head tube you do not have to be an out and out racing cyclist

to enjoy the pleasure of riding it.

The Cervelo R3 and R3 SL stand high in the crowd again with squoval tubes lighter than the RS and with a tighter wheel base this is great road frame also fitted with 3T forks.

The carbon S2 and S3 are the fastist road bikes on the planet they handle the best they are out of this world , with the ability to reverse the pillar they also make a superb Triathlon bike with out using the mainly out and out models as the P2 , P3 and the P4.

At the Time Trial Triathlon end the P2 and P3 have proven that they are the bikes with most riders choosing to use them if posible. Up till now the P3 being the quickist bike there is "come on down the P4."

Having personally riden both they are the TT tri bike of my choice.

To get the most out of a Cervelo it is a must to well fitted by somebody that understands the product and whats behind it. So a good fitting is the answer , we do all this into to our prices to make sure that you get the most back.

On the TT front I have many customers that it has been a big change with great results.

Below are our Prices and pictures of the Cervelos.

“It explodes off your pedal strokes with that instantaneous acceleration, but it also keeps on rocketing ahead after your booster phase, as if a free tailwind was thrown in with your purchase.” - Bicycling Magazine

Most underrated bike in the world according to magazines and pro riders, the S1 (formerly the Soloist Team) is quite simply the best value in road bikes. A 100% pro bike, with victories in Paris-Nice, Critérium International, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, Tour de l’Avénir and many other races.

Nowadays people are sometimes so blinded by “carbon” that they prefer a mediocre carbon frame over the best aluminum frame that is lighter, stronger, stiffer, more responsive and even more comfortable. Therefore, try before you buy, as we are confident you will join the ranks of S1 owners.
A full-aero frame in road geometry - combining the best of our road bike features with the aerodynamic knowledge we have acquired over the past decade.

Versatile and affordable - This bike can climb, descend, sprint, and of course is ideal for break-aways. On top of that it morphs into a part-time TT/Tri bike and it is the most affordable way to ride what the pros ride.

Aerodynamics without compromising its other features - Combines aerodynamics with light weight, great power transmission, and an excellent ride

ICS (Internal CableStops) - Cervélo’s standard setting cable routing system. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and improved aerodynamics.

Adjustable geometry – Road or TT/triathlon, the S1 can do both thanks to its 2-position seatpost offering the standard 73 degree or the optional 76 degree seattube angle.

Winning pedigree - Ridden to victory in Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Paris-Nice, Tour de l'Avénir, Critérium International and many other races.
“Best Plush Bike” - Bicycling Awards
“True performance for riders with limited flexibility” - Bicycling Australia

Race performance is guaranteed, as it is based on the same platform as the R3, two-time winner of Paris-Roubaix. But its geometry allows for a higher handlebar position, which makes it a better fit for a lot of riders, even some of the pros.

Highlights
Squoval downtube & chainstays - Optimized for the highest possible stiffness-to-weight ratio (STW).

Multi-shape toptube - Squoval at both ends and oval in the middle to counter the complex loads.

Oversized bottom bracket area – Large diameter and smooth, optimized shapes increase bottom bracket stiffness for excellent power transfer from pedal to rear wheel.

Lay-up optimization – Approximately 300 pieces of carbon, each optimized in shape, fiber type and fiber direction.

Leaf spring Seatstays - Unparalleled vertical compliance thanks to their leaf spring design.

Higher handlebar geometry – Same handling philosophy as our other road bikes, but with longer headtube for those who prefer a higher handlebar position, and longer chainstay length to keep the weight distribution balanced.

Special XS size – The new XS size completely eliminates toe-overlap (see geometry section for more information).
Squoval Down Tube
“This year Team CSC have benefitted from arguably the most sophisticated bike in the pro peloton” - CycleSport

The S2 is the next generation of the Soloist Carbon, which already had the reputation for being the ultimate pro bike: not surprising, given its long list of victories. But it is maybe even more useful at the other end of the spectrum, giving an “unfair” advantage to those who just need a little bit more to hang on to their weekend rides. We know, because Cervélo co-founders Phil and Gerard are squarely in that category, and both own S2s.

While most of the aerodynamic drag is caused by the rider, around 25% is the bike. And bike aerodynamics is “always on”, no matter your riding position or fatigue level. Thanks to the latest Cervélo lay-up schedules, there is not even any weight or efficiency penalty compared to non-aero bikes. What more could you wish for, all pros, no cons (also a great slogan for drug-free cycling).
Outstanding aerodynamics – Airfoil shapes designed by Cervélo for bicycle speeds, not for airplanes. Features that work, no aero gimmicks that work on a TT bike but not on a road bike.

No compromise - Extremely aerodynamic yet among the lightest frames in the pro peloton and with excellent stiffness & compliance properties.

Aero sloping toptube – Horizontal airfoil cross section for the toptube with 1:15 thickness-to-chord ratio make even the toptube an aero asset.

Stealth aero headtube – Hourglass shape on the sides allow for aero cross section without the need for a nose on the headtube.

Oversized bottom bracket area – Large diameter and smooth, optimized shapes increase bottom bracket stiffness for excellent power transfer from pedal to rear wheel.

ICS Internal Cable Stops - Cervélo’s standard setting cable routing system. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and improved aerodynamics.

Flexible geometry – The 2-position seatpost (optional) allows you to put your saddle in a 76 degree seattube angle position, ideal for the occasional triathlon. As the S3 is more aero than most of the full TT bikes on the market, this offers great triathlon performance without the need for a second bike. Of course, for regular triathlon use, a triathlon bike is still a better choice, thanks to the 78 degree seattube angle and dedicated triathlon geometry.

Team CSC has long used Cervélo’s slippery frames for road stages with well-known success and other companies have more recently gotten into the game. – cyclingnews.com

Cervélo invented the aero road frame, and continues to lead the category. Aero road frames are the most difficult frames to design, as they have to be everything in one: aero, light, stiff, comfortable. Cervélo has worked to optimize this balance between the various requirements since its inception 13 years ago.

For the S3, the engineers at vroomen.white.design used the R3 seatstay technology, rotated the stays 90 degrees and gave them a proper Cervélo aero shape. This reduces the weight, increases the vertical compliance and improves the aerodynamics. Sounds simple, but the structural design is extremely complex, which is why only Cervélo has such stays. The chainstays were also redesigned to optimize aerodynamics. Finally, the cable routing system (ICS2) is the first to have cable entries through the top of the toptube without sacrificing shifting performance
Outstanding aerodynamics – Airfoil shapes designed by Cervélo for bicycle speeds, not for airplanes. Features that work, no aero gimmicks that work on a TT bike but not on a road bike.

Light, but efficient – Sub-1000g yet with an exclusive Cervélo lay-up design to create class-leading stiffness in the bottom bracket (for efficient power transfer) and in torsion (for excellent handling)

Vertically compliant – Seatstays as thin as on the R3, but rotated 90 degrees and reshaped for aerodynamics. Light, comfortable and aero, the best in aero road bike engineering.

Perfect balance – Aero, light, stiff and comfortable, the S3 works. Several companies make aero road bikes, but only the Cervélo aero road bikes were used extensively at the hilly Olympic road race, a testament to their balanced approach.

ICS2 Internal Cable Stops – Entry through the toptube & Internal Cable Stops on the downtube combine the most aero cable routing with the lowest friction and lowest weight solution (no excess housing inside the frame).

“The P2C packs a better punch than many bikes at twice the price” - Triathlete magazine
“No upgrades are required. Slap on a set of race wheels and you’re ready to win Kona” - Dan Empfield, founder QR and editor Slowtwitch.com

Dan Empfield made the quote above last year, and he didn’t have to wait long for confirmation – Chrissie Wellington won Ironman Hawaii on a P2 in 2007, following it in 2008 with wins at Ironman Australia and Germany. At any other bike company, the P2 would be the top-of-the-line bike. At Cervélo, it is number two behind the P3.

But the P2 is not your average runner-up; no other frame in this price category offers anywhere near the same performance. No wonder that the P2 is regularly rebadged by pros with different bike brand logos, or that customers sometimes have to wait months to get their hands on one despite another tripling of our production. But afterwards, we hear the same response over and over again: It was more than worth the wait.
Constant width seattube cutout – Most cutouts in aero seattubes vary in width as you move up and down. This is not ideal with a tire behind it that has a constant shape. The P2 cutout has a constant width that carefully matches the following tire, thereby greatly improving aerodynamics.

Aero headtube - no bulky nose cone, but an extremely thin, aerodynamically optimized shape

CCS - Constant Cross-section Seattube - The airflow over the seattube is predominantly horizontal. The new seattube shape has a cross section shape that is separately optimized everywhere between bottom bracket and the seatstay joint.

IAA seatpost – Cervélo’s Integrated Accessory Attachment allows you to securely attach a behind-the-seat carriage system – no need to clamp anything to the saddle or around the seatpost. Several manufacturers make components to fit the IAA system.

Integrated Seattube collar – Invisible to the airflow, while still allowing the seatmast to be removed, this design is both the most aero and allows for easy traveling and adjustment.

ICS Internal CableStops - Cervélo’s standard setting cable routing system. Easy to install, easy to service, easy to keep clean and improved aerodynamics..

UCI legal - As with all our frames, the P2 is UCI legal

Frameset - The P2 is also available as a frameset
“Most successful time trial bike on the ProTour circuit”
“Most successful triathlon bike on the Ironman circuit”

If it was going to be surpassed, it was going to be by another Cervélo, and the P4 has finally managed to do so.

But with the P3 scoring both Gold medals and a total of four out of a possible six medals in the time trial in Beijing (men & women), it is clear that the P3 is here to stay. There is a bright future for the second-best TT bike in the world.

The new standard – Probably the most copied concept in the history of TT/Tri bikes, but never matched in performance. The P3 has the most wins in pro cycling, and is also most successful frame in Ironman racing (both in wins and bike counts).

Aero headtube - no bulky nose cone, but an extremely thin, aerodynamically optimized shape.

CCS - Constant Cross-section Seattube - The airflow over the seattube is predominantly horizontal. The new seattube shape has a cross section shape that is separately optimized everywhere between bottom bracket and the seatstay joint.

UCI legal - As with all our frames, the P3 is UCI legal.

Frameset - The P3 is also available as a frameset.

The P4 is the eagerly anticipated successor to the current time trial standard, the Cervélo P3. As the P3 is still the fastest bike available three years after its introduction, it is clear that creating its successor was no easy task. After millions in research & development and over two months of intensive testing at the San Diego Low Speed Wind Tunnel, the P4 is the fastest bike ever in the wind tunnel, including both UCI-legal and illegal bikes.

“The P4 is the biggest leap we have ever made in aero bike technology,” said Phil White, co-founder of Cervélo. “The P series has evolved significantly over the last decade, making it a real challenge to keep finding improvements. With the P4, the mandate was to make it significantly faster than the P3 while achieving equivalent or better performance relative to stiffness, power transmission, low weight and comfort. I’m pleased to report that we have met those goals.”

The strengths of the P4 are found in its many fine details, some of which are quite visible but others are difficult to detect at first glance. The key to the performance of the P4 lies in the frameset’s integrated design. This System Engineering approach, which considers the frame, components, wheels, hydration and the rider together, generates substantially reduced drag values in virtual (CFD) and physical wind tunnel testing. Highlights of the P4 system include:
The aero profiles of the P4’s tubes are completely new, improving airflow attachment and reducing turbulence relative to other designs. In addition, the new asymmetric aero chain stays generate very low drag values, particularly in cross-wind environments, compared with chain stay designs from earlier P-series and competitor models. Finally, the seat stays are pitched forward to reduce frontal surface area and their joints with the seat tube are optimized for maximum aerodynamic efficiency.
The custom fork, developed by vroomen.white.design, is integrated seamlessly into the head tube and downtube. This feature was first conceived by Cervélo in 1995 and comes to fruition now on the P4. Cervélo also invested significantly to optimize the spacing between the tires and wheels, the frame and the fork. This is a very complex area aerodynamically and our engineers tested over seventy-five different designs during the development process. The result is a significant reduction in drag values generated in this section of the bike.
We invented the front wheel cutout back in 1995, but in subsequent testing we have found it not to be the fastest design. So despite current trends the P4 does not have a front wheel cutout, as we have never seen one that works. While front wheel cutouts can show good drag values in the tunnel, this is only the case because there, the front wheel is perfectly in line with the downtube. In reality, the rider constantly makes small steering adjustments, which stalls the airflow onto the downtube and increases the drag.
The P4’s custom rear brake is fully integrated into the frame design. The brake, fully designed and developed by vroomen.white.design, is recessed into an alcove immediately behind the bottom bracket. By using a recess instead of placing the brake above or underneath the chainstays as is commonly done, the brake is not only invisible to the eyes but, more importantly, to the wind. Thanks to the structural carbon brake booster, the brake has the same power and modulation as a Dura Ace brake while being 30% lighter. The brake booster is easy to remove for full brake service and allows access to the brake mechanism for quick adjustments on the road
Traditional bottle shapes corrupt the efficiencies of proper airfoil tubes. The 570 ml water bottle on the P4 is designed so it does not disrupt the airflow, and it contains more fluid than a standard water bottle so it is more practical. Its shape and position also make it easy to grab and drink from according to our test riders.

The bottle is refillable on the fly, important for longer races. For those using two types of fluids in races, we recommend a set-up including this P4 bottle plus a standard bottle cage attached to the aerobars. Having a standard bottle in-between the arms on the aerobars makes it easy to hydrate, and there is no aerodynamic penalty. It also reduces the need to refill the P4 bottle, as you can opt to have a high-density energy drink in the P4 bottle and water in the aerobar-mounted bottle (which you renew as you race along). Additional P4 bottles are also available, so you can have a ready-to-use fresh dose of energy drink in your special needs bag at Ironman events.
While the features described above are significant contributors to the P4’s overall performance, the greatest gains have been made in the dozens of small details. Look for more detailed information in the near future. The P4 will be available in early 2009.
